Resistive Heating Type
Resistive heating elements give precise control

Resistive humidifiers create steam through the transfer of heat from the resistance heater elements to the water. Consistent and accurate humidity control is offered with resistance heater technology. The steam output is directly controlled by the heat given from the elements. Isothermal humidification is used in PH series Humidifiers.

Humidifiers made of stainless steel are clad in GPSP/Aluminium sheets and insulated with fibreglass. Units are available in both wall-mounted and floor-mounted designs. Water is heated to 60-70 degrees Celsius in the tank by a warm-up heater, thereby reducing the response time. Water is converted to vapour using tubular heating elements. These elements consists of helical coil of 80% Nickel 20% Chromium alloy resistance wire. This coil assembly is precisely stretched and centered within the element metal sheath, which is then filled with Grade “A” Magnesium Oxide powder (MgO). It is then compacted by a roll reduction mill into a solid mass, providing permanent stability to the coil in the center of the tube and maintaining the desired dielectric strength.

Benefits :

  • NO DISPOSABLE PLASTIC CYLINDERS
As electrical current is not applied to the water, cleanable stainless metal is used, significantly reducing operating costs.

  • FLEXIBLE CHOICE OF WATER
As the mineral content of the water has no impact on steam output, resistive humidifiers can operate on RO water. This virtually eliminates scale build-up, thus reducing servicing, and improves humidity control by removing the need for mineral dilution cycles to control foaming. Humidifiers with resistive heating (Pan Humidifier) works well with normal TAP water as well.
